Its RALLY TIME!!

One Year ago, we had great success with our first rally around the East Bay. There were games, costumes and a whole lot of fun. This year, MINI is doing its national rally (MINI takes the States) close to our event time, ...so we decided to do a smaller rally to pump people up for the national event.

Join us on Sunday, August 1st (6 days before the national rally kick off) as we do our "RALLYE MOUNT DIABLO" ...celebrating MINI's rally heritage in the Monte Carlo Rallye. This year our rally will be separated into two parts:

10:30 AM - Join us for our POKER RUN RALLY around MT Diablo. Collect poker cards at 5 stops around the route. The highest hand after the route will get a cash prize.

12:00PM - Join us for a CASINO PARTY after the rally at MINI of Concord. There will be Casino games where you can win tickets for some great prizes. There will also be a variety of circus games, and a Face Painter outside for the kids. Great food and music will also be provided.

The JCW WC50...ONE OF 500 in the WORLD!

First shown at the 2009 MINI United Festival in Silverstone, the MINI John Cooper Works World Championship 50, as its full name is known, has been built to honor the Cooper team’s first Formula One World Championship title with Black Jack Brabham at the wheel back in 1959.

MINI is making only 500 versions of this little guy. It is based on the MINI JCW and is motivated by the same 1.6-liter twin-turbocharged plant that puts out 211HP. It’ll do zero to 100 km/h (62mph) in 6.5 seconds and will top out at of 238 km/h or 148mph. Only 50 will be available in the United States.

All the WC50s are finished in a new color named ‘Connaught Green’ that harkens back to the British race cars of the 1950s and 60s era, and, if you ask me, is a very pretty shade. Also on the outside you get roof and bonnet stripes in ‘Pepper White’ and 17-inch cross-spoke alloy wheels finished in ‘Jet Black’. Other exterior goodies include a JCW aerodynamics package, a glut of carbon fiber parts, such as the bonnet scoop, rear diffuser, exterior mirror caps and tailgate handle along, and also special insignias.

On the inside the ‘World Championship 50’s’ interior has been improved with even more carbon fiber trim overlaid by red touches and black leather seats with contrasting red piping. The red theme is also used on the knee-rolls, armrests and the floor mat stitching, gearshift and handbrake gaiters. There is also a new sport steering wheel with an Alcantara rim.

Holiday Lights Tour less than 2 weeks away!!

We have started to get all the decorations we are going to use to decorate the MINI dealership, and boy are we getting excited!! Did you realize that we are under 2 weeks away from our next event!!

Make plans to celebrate the holiday with us on December 12th. We will be touring some of the best light displays in the East Bay. Bring down a new, unwrapped toy and play with us!! We will have lots of games, cocktails and Santa will be by to take pics with the kids!!

LET'S SPREAD SOME HOLIDAY CHEER!!

Hello all-

It's that time of year again. A time to reflect on the past and give thanks for everything we're fortunate enough to have. Sadly there are many who are not as fortunate as we all are.

After the huge success of our Summer Rally, we thought we would get together one last time this year, and do it all for a good cause.

Join us Saturday, December 12th for our Holiday Lights Tour and Toy Drive to benefit Children’s Hospital of Oakland.

Please bring an unwrapped toy as your entry. Then join us as we tour some of the most festive homes in the East Bay. Your tour group will be escorted by our own MINI Holiday Helpers from start to finish

After the run, join us at our own Winter Wonderland at MINI of Concord, where we will be serving Beverages and warm goodies to refuel all you merry-makers. Once everyone is warmed up, join us for our Rock Band Contest and take a picture with our very own Santa and his special sleigh.

This event is open to all ages and all participants. Tell your friends!! The only requirement is bring an unwrapped toy, and to have fun!!
