Remember that crazy kid in a Mazda with a camera mounted to the hood of his car??? Well, thats our buddy Cameron...and he taped the rally route for us the day of the event. Check out the awesome video he made of the rally route :)

Hello all....Austin here :)

First and foremost, all of us here at BMW/MINI of Concord would like to really thank all of you who came out to our first rally of the year last Sunday. I can say without a doubt that the rally was a big success, and that everyone had lots of fun.

I would like to personally thank Gary Daniel (our parts manager) and all of our staff for all the work they have put into the event for the last 6 weeks. We would also want to thank our new friends over at NORCAL MINIs for all the help they gave to us for this event. We could of not have pulled it off as successful as it was without them.

But, the most important people we really want to thank are all the participants who showed up to have some fun in the sun with us sunday. An event is only as successful as the participants who are in it...and I can say that without a doubt that we all had fun. We actually had so much fun on Sunday that we are talking about plans for our next Rally. Stay tuned :)

JUST 2 Days AWAY!!

Come join us and NORCAL MINIs for our CONTRA COSTA BACKROADS RALLY!!

It all starts at 8:00am with a Tech Session at the BMW/MINI of Concord Collision Center. The first cars will be heading out on the road at roughly 8:30am.

Lunch will be served at our MINI OF Concord showroom at 12:30pm.

Free Food. Free Fun in the Sun.

When you have completed the Rally join us for games, prizes, raffles and a free lunch at MINI of Concord's showroom. Wear your best Costume. Bring your best Pinewood Derby car and race it in the Pinewood Derby, or race slot cars, for more raffle tickets. Meet the MINI Bulldog and MINI people from all over the Bay Area. And it is all FREE!!!

Join us for the Rally, or just join us for Lunch.

COME DOWN AND HAVE SOME FUN IN THE SUN!!

Four more days to go....and we are scrambling here to get the last few things done for our CONTRA COSTA BACKROADS RALLY on Sunday. Come join us and NORCAL MINIS for a day of fun in the sun. Everything starts at 8am at the MINI of Concord Collision Center, and ends at the MINI of Concord Showroom.

Some people have had questions

about the event...so I thought I would put together a quick FAQ on the subject...

Q. How much will it cost?

A. Just the gas in your tank, the rest is

FREE!

Q. How do I Sign up?

A.You can either sign up on this page, or at NorCal MINIs. You can also

just show up the day of the event. We wont turn anyone away, and you don't have to have a MINI to participate.

Q. How much are the tickets for the

raffles?

A. FREE! Just come by and drive the rally or stop by for lunch. There will be staff handing out tickets for the raffles the whole time. Look for people in MINI shirts.

Q. what is the “Grand Prize”?

A. the grand prize is a $1,000

gift certificate to have the accessory of your choice added to your MINI. There will also be over $2,000 worth of MINI Motoring gear raffled off during the event.

Q. What time does this all go down?

A. the Rally starts at 8:30am on Sunday July 19th. Lunch will start at 12:

30 and you can come just for the after fun, you don’t have to drive the course.

Q. Have a question about your MINI??

A. We will have MINI Whiz Kids at the end of the event, who will be able to answer everything from how to change a tire to problems more

complex.

Q. What are the “Theme Cars”?

A. we have taken a few MINI’s and dressed them up. Let’s just say we had a lot of fun dressing up these cars and ourselves!

Are you ready?? Our first Rally of the Year goes down on Sunday, July 19th at 8am. Its totally free and is open to everyone!!! Free Raffle....Free Games..... Free Lunch!

We would also like to congratuate our winner for our Pre-Rally Puzzle Compettion. He gets to choose a MINI Roof graphic of his choice for his brand new MINI. CONGRATS!!

Have you all seen our Austin Powers Themed MINI??? This will be one of our specially themed cars that will be at the event. The graphic was made by our friends at MINI Motoring Graphics. Take a look at their site and see all the great things you can do to spice up your MINI.

At MINI of Concord, we are really scrambling to get the final touches done. As the date gets closer, our excitement continues to climb. It is going to be a fun day for sure.

Be sure to come down and get your puzzle pieces for our Pre-Rally competition. We have a custom graphic from minimotoringgraphics.com up for grabs. We have pieces stashed around our facilities that you need to collect in order to win. Clues were given in our last email and in the post listed below.Remember, you only have until the day of the event to come down and get your pieces, so hurry in today :)

On rally day we will have a free raffle, games and over fun activities.

Have a question about your MINI?? Come down and ask our Motoring Whiz kids...who will be around to answer all your questions.

Remember, the rally is totally FREE and you don't need to have a MINI to participate.
